Modernage proudly conducts a number of co-curricular activities all through the year. An elaborate system of Houses is being run in the institution. The entire college has been divided into eight senior and four junior houses. They are:

Junior Houses:

*          GhalibHouse                             *          Iqbal House

Senior House Boys:

Senior Houses Girls:

*          Fatima House                           *          Khadija House

*          Ayesha House                          *          Zainab House

A number of events like art exhibitions, collage competitions, web page designing competitions, multimedia presentations, quizzes, debates, dramas, singing, painting, speeches, fancy dress shows, etc are initiated through the houses. A complete detail of all these events is available in the yearly Schedule of Activities. Students are assisted and supported in the planning and execution of these activities. Certain programs are conceived and organized by the students themselves as well. The participation in house activities:

  • generates an extremely healthy competition.
  • develops leadership qualities.
  • produces a spirit of co-operation and understanding.
  • develops an awareness of cultural diversity among the young Modernites.
  • provides the entire college community not only a chance of participation but also of developing friendships.
  • allows the students to interact and learn at a rich forum.
  • teaches the students to bear in their minds that an individual’s skill level is not as important as the desire to participate and enjoy.
